Rangers’ squad showed their appreciation to the section of fans who made their way to the club’s ground this afternoon, after making short work of St. Mirren.
Kent amongst those on target
Steven Gerrard’s men welcomed the Saints to Ibrox a short time ago, for their latest Scottish Premiership outing.
The Gers of course headed into proceedings having enjoyed a remarkable campaign to date, which had seen them open up an eye-watering 18-point lead over perennial recent champions and fierce rivals Celtic at the table’s summit.
And, when all was said and done in Glasgow this afternoon, Rangers’ advantage was only stretched.
A quickfire double courtesy of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos saw the hosts take control inside the opening quarter of an hour, before Ianis Hagi made sure of all 3 points early in the 2nd-half.

The celebrations have begun
Rangers’ latest win means that, if Celtic go on to drop points at Dundee United tomorrow afternoon, the Blues will officially be crowned as champions of Scotland for the first time in a decade.
And the significance of their result this afternoon was certainly not lost on the part of either the Gers faithful, or the club’s stars.
Ahead of kick-off at Ibrox, a series of videos made their way online, showcasing supporters of Steven Gerrard’s men outside the ground, throwing government regulations out the window to come together for a chaotic scene of chanting and celebration:
