Ahead of the quarter-final clash against Korea Republic on Sunday, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have stormed Santiago Del Estero for the game.
The Nigerian team qualified for the final 8 of the competition after they proved bookmakers wrong by beating the host Argentina 2-0.
Korea on their part edged Ecuador in the final game of the Round 16, 3-2 in a keenly contested encounter.
The team reached Santiago in the early hours of Friday and they settled down to begin preparations for the clash.
This will be the 3rd time both teams will be playing each other at this level of football, in 2005 in Holland Korea defeated Nigeria 2-1 but Nigeria secured a narrow 1-0 win in the 2013 edition of the competition.
