Libyan premier league giant, Al Ahli Tripoli, have beaten Egyptian premier league club, Zamalek, to the services of Nigeria forward John Ebuka Okoye.
Ebuka broke into the scene during his time with ENPPI, where he scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 33 games, before completing a surprise move to Cleopatra FC.
Zamalek have been linked with a January move for the striker, with the Whites even becoming inches away from agreeing on a deal with Cleopatra over Ebuka.
Both Zamalek and Cleopatra agreed on the transfer fee; however, the way of payment was the issue that made the deal fall through.
Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli took advantage of the situation and managed to snatch the Nigerian, announcing the deal on their social media.
