Southampton FC has finally unveiled Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo, making the Nigerian international the club’s second signing of the summer transfer window.
Making the announcement on their official Twitter account, the Saints welcomed the 25-year-old from Rangers FC. It was also gathered the soccer star was signed for a whopping sum of £10million. Having confirmed the move, the Nigerian penned an emotional farewell to his former club, Rangers of Scotland.
Writing on Instagram, Aribo said: “It’s been an amazing journey being part of this special club. I hold @rangersfc very close to my heart as they gave me the opportunity to showcase my talent on a bigger stage.”Playing at Ibrox was a dream & I’m glad I got to experience it. I’m happy I was able to play a part in the historic 55 league title-winning season.”
