Man United see off Man City
Manchester United returned to winning ways on Sunday evening, with a huge victory over bitter rivals Manchester City.
The Red Devils headed into the meeting at the Etihad amid a fairly poor run of form, which had seen them fail to score a single goal across their last three outings.
So, facing a Man City side who had notched 21 wins in a row before Sunday, a United victory looked altogether unlikely.
But, when all was said and done in Manchester, it was actually Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. who came away with the points.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring less than two minutes in, converting a penalty after Anthony Martial had been brought down in the box:

Luke Shaw then added United’s second of the day shortly after the break, ensuring United picked up a huge three points:

Marcus Rashford update
An otherwise positive evening for United, however, was dampened somewhat when Marcus Rashford was forced off during the second 45:

So, United’s fans were no doubt anxiously awaiting an update on the wellbeing of one of their key men.
Speaking post-match, though, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was unable to provide a timeframe for the injury.
Instead, the Norwegian revealed that he thinks Rashford has done ‘something to his ankle’, with a scan required to learn more:
“I don’t know. It’s something with his ankle.”
“When he sprinted 70 yards to save a goal, it showed the attitude of the boy. I think he went over on his ankle but we need to do a scan, I’ve not had time to speak to the doctor yet.”
