After suffering defeat in their last game, Supersport United returned to winning ways on Friday with a narrow victory over Cape Town City.
Supersport won the game by a lone strike in the 62nd minute scored by Nigeria forward, Etiosa Ighodaro.
Ighodaro joined the club this summer on loan from the defending champions Mamelodi Sundown after a successful loan spell with Chippa United last season.
Numerous South African premier league sides want to take the Nigerian permanently but Sundown coach Rulani insisted that is not for sale and that he will be part of his plan next season.
Ighoadaro has so far netted 3 goals this season.
