Man City vs Man United
This weekend’s marquee Premier League tie of course takes place in Manchester.
Manchester City will play host to bitter rivals, Manchester United, on Sunday afternoon.
City head into the meeting on a staggering 21-game winning run across all competitions, whilst also not losing in 28 outings.
As for Manchester United, they are unbeaten in five league ties, but their form has still been pretty dismal.
The Red Devils have picked up just one win in five PL games, notching four draws.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have also failed to score in any of their last three matches across all competitions, being forced to settle for 0-0 draws vs all of Real Sociedad, Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Such concerning form has seen Man City open up a 14-point gap atop of the Premier League table, with the title almost certainly returning to the Etihad this season.
It also means that, though they are still second, Man United securing a Champions League berth this term is most definitely not guaranteed.
This comes with 5th place Everton, who have a game in hand on United, currently just five points behind them.
Henderson to start vs Man City
Ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer held his latest press conference on Friday afternoon.
During the presser, the Norwegian confirmed that Dean Henderson would once again be between the sticks at the weekend as David de Gea needs to fly back from Spain and then enter quarantine:
Solskjaer confirms Henderson start v #MCFC. De Gea to fly back from birth of first child then quarantine. “It won’t be long.”
“Easier when I travelled from Euros. Noah born on Friday. I played v Spain on Tuesday. Biggest occasion in parent’s life so we allowed him to go.” #MUFC

On Henderson, Solskjaer praised the shot-stopper for his display vs Crystal Palace and also stated that he is looking forward to the City clash
“Dean did well against Palace, he is looking forward to the City game as well. He experienced it in the Carabao Cup as well.”
