According to a report in Mundo Deportivo, two of European football’s soon to be out of contract elite players, David Alaba and Sergio Aguero, are both options for new President Joan Laporta.
El agente de Alaba estuvo la semana pasada en Barcelona. Asegura que no tiene nada firmado con el Madrid.
Y el de Agüero ya ha hecho saber al Barça que rebajaría su ficha, pero pide prima de fichaje.

Sergio Aguero has yet to decide what to do when his contract expires at the end of the season, with no agreement to extend in place as of yet from Pep Guardiola.
He has been nothing short of sensational since joining Manchester City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and if he does leave the club, will go down as one of the greatest to have ever graced the Premier League.
The report suggests his agent made contact during the election campaign to let it be known that his player would be in favour of a move to the Nou Camp.
Aguero, who is approaching his 33rd birthday, has been injured for much of the season but could be seen as a viable option to replace Luis Suarez as an traditional number 9. He has also of course been a team mate of Messi for the Argentina team for a decade.
The fact he would not cost a transfer fee would be attractive to cash strapped Barcelona, although his wages won’t come cheap.
Alaba out the door

David Alaba has of course already confirmed that he is set to leave Bayern Munich this summer after an incredibly successful 13 year stay at Bayern Munich.
The versatile Austrian international, who can play in defence or midfield, will have no shortage of suitors, but will also come with high wage demands. Once again though, the lack of major transfer fees will make the player an attractive option.
His agent Pini Zahavi has a relationship with Laporta and the report suggests Alaba’s agents were in Barcelona last week and that a verbal agreement has been reached.
The dawn of a new Presidency always brings big names attached to Barcelona and there will no doubt be many names linked to the club in the coming weeks and months.
Perhaps the most important job for Laporta is to find a finance partner who is willing to assist them through their current turbulent waters.
