Liverpool & Manchester United ‘keeping tabs’ on Christian Pulisic’s situation

Pulisic struggling under Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea have, of course, greatly improved since Thomas Tuchel took the reins in January.

The Blues are now firmly in the hunt for a top-four place and are on course to knock La Liga leaders, Atletico Madrid, out of the Champions League.

Chelsea are also yet to lose a single tie in all competitions under the German, a run which spans 11 games.

However, not everyone at Chelsea has benefited from Tuchel’s arrival.

With such a large squad at his disposal, the former PSG man is obviously going to struggle to hand everyone regular football.

And unfortunately for Christian Pulisic, he is one of the players who has struggled to win favour under Tuchel.

In fact, since he took over Frank Lampard, Tuchel is yet to hand Pulisic more than 45 minutes of action in the Premier League.

Man United & Liverpool eyeing Chelsea’s Pulisic

Following Chelsea’s latest win over Everton, in which Pulisic was handed just a minute of action, Tuchel suggested that the winger’s lack of minutes was a bit unfair and that he had been unlucky in the last few games:

“I can say nothing else but good things about him. Maybe his biggest problem is that I know him from Dortmund and I think he started only in the cup games.

“It is my responsibility and it is a bit unfair but I know what impact he can have in the last 20 or 30 minutes.

“He was a bit unlucky in the last few games. It isn’t a lack of trust or quality, it is just that he will have to be patient.

Now, though, with Pulisic continuing to struggle for regular action, speculation around his future at Stamford Bridge has begun to mount.

And according to the Daily Mail, Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are all keeping tabs on Pulisic’s situation, with Tuchel’s latest snub said to have put the trio ‘on alert’.
