The latest word stemming from the English media on Sunday suggests that Marcus Rashford will be fit and available to feature in Manchester United’s meeting with West Ham.
United host Irons
The Red Devils are set to return to Premier League action later tonight, in a meeting with David Moyes’ high flyers.
The clash marks a crucial one in the race for European football, with both sides battling it out for a top-4 berth.
As things stand, it is United who boast the advantage, sitting 2nd, albeit 17 points adrift of table-topping Manchester City. West Ham, though, amid a remarkable campaign to date, sit just 6 points back of their upcoming hosts, with a game in hand.

The last time the sides went head to head, in an FA Cup clash early last month, it was Man United who emerged victorious, albeit just, courtesy of a tense 1-0 win.
Rashford returns
As such, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. will no doubt be wary of the threat posed by a legitimately impressive Hammers side, in a little over 5 hours’ time.
And, as outlined above, ahead of the highly anticipated Manchester showdown, United’s chances of securing a positive result have this afternoon been boosted.
This comes in the form of an update on the fitness of Marcus Rashford.
English international Rashford was unavailable for his side’s midweek meeting with AC Milan in the Europa League, after picking up an ankle problem in the Manchester derby last weekend.
As per the reliable Samuel Luckhurst, though, the explosive attacker is back in the Red Devils’ matchday squad to face West Ham.
Dean Henderson, meanwhile, is primed to continue between the posts, ahead of David de Gea:
Marcus Rashford is back in the #mufc squad, despite Solskjaer casting doubt on his availability against West Ham. Dean Henderson is starting today.
