World Soccer ruling body has announced the Asia country Indonesia as the host of the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup.
Peru who was earlier scheduled to host the competition was stripped after they failed to meet the standard requirement set by FIFA.
Indonesia initially was expected to host the U20 World Cup but was stripped of due to the political tension between them and Israel.
FIFA on Friday afternoon gave the U17 hosting right to Indonesia and December 2023 remains the time set for the tournament.
Senegal, Burkina Faso, Morocco and Mali are the four African countries that will fly their flags at the competition.
