Porto were awarded a free-kick 35 yards out in the 115th minute of extra time, which Sergio Oliveira lined up and drilled low and hard towards the Juventus goal.
The tie was firmly in Juventus’s favour, with a man advantage and the game tied at 3-3, but as the ball was struck Ronaldo turned away from the strike while parting his legs, allowing the ball to easily by pass his attempt at blocking it.
Wojciech Szczesny in the Juventus goal was caught off guard and as the ball nestled in the net, Porto were on the cusp of a famous victory. Juventus scored again through Adrien Rabiot, but it wasn’t enough as Porto enjoyed another famous night in the Champions League.
