Everton boss Ancelotti provides updates on James Rodriguez, Coleman & more ahead of West Brom

West Brom vs Everton

Everton are back in Premier League action on Thursday evening.

The Toffees face a trip to West Brom, as they look to make it three wins in a row.

Their previous win saw them see off Southampton by one goal to nil on Monday.

Said tie drew Everton level on points with 6th place Liverpool and just two points adrift of 4th place West Brom, both of whom Everton have a game in hand on.

As a result, Everton remain well in the hunt for a Champions League place this term. So, a win over the Baggies is imperative to ensure they can keep that challenge alive.

However, though West Brom are 19th in the Premier League at present, their recent form has been ok.

Sam Allardyce’s side are unbeaten in their last three, drawing with Manchester United and Burnley whilst picking up a win over Brighton.

Carlo Ancelotti on Rodriguez, Coleman & Davies

Ahead of Thursday’s game, Carlo Ancelotti held his latest press conference on Wednesday.

During the presser, the Italian discussed a number of topics, including team news.

James, Rodriguez, Seamus Coleman and Tom Davies all missed out on Everton’s aforementioned win over Southampton on Monday, with what Ancelotti described as ‘little problems’:

However, when speaking ahead of West Brom, Carlo Ancelotti did not confirm whether said players would be back in action, stating instead he would check on them after training:
