Diallo’s Man United stint
Amad Diallo completed a £37m move to Old Trafford from Serie A outfit Atalanta last summer, with the winger having eventually joined up with his new club in January.
Despite the hefty price-tag attached to the Ivorian, though, Diallo is yet to establish himself as a regular in United’s senior ranks.
But, to be fair to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co., he had managed just five senior appearances for Atalanta before his transfer was completed.
As for his time in Manchester so far, the attacker has featured for a grand total of seven minutes for the Red Devils’ first-team, all of which came last week in the Europa League against Real Sociedad.
United won that clash 4-0. In turn, considering the comfortable lead his side now boast heading into the second-leg, Solskjaer was recently asked if Diallo could be handed a start this Thursday. You can read more about that here:

Dan James praises Diallo
Despite his very limited action so far, though, Diallo appears to have made a very positive impression on a number of his teammates.
Both Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were full of praise for the youngster recently, even comparing him to Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
And now, Daniel James has become the latest senior United star to heap praise on the 18-year-old:
“Amad has come in and, as a young lad, he’s been unbelievable in training.
“I mean his professionalism [is very good] and he’s settled in straight away, I’d say, do you know what I mean? We see his quality in training, he has unbelievable feet, but we’ve seen he also presses well and wins the ball back, which is exactly what we want.”
