Chelsea dealt Hudson-Odoi injury blow vs Manchester United

Chelsea vs Manchester United

What is widely viewed as the weekend’s marquee Premier League clash is currently being played out at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are playing host to Manchester United, aiming to gain some ground on their Europe-chasing rivals.

After West Ham’s defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, the Blues knew that a win against United would see them knock the Hammers out of the top-four.

At present, though, Thomas Tuchel’s side are being held by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s outfit.

The first 45 saw very few clear-cut chances created by either side, with Callum Hudson-Odoi’s potential handball the main talking point thus far:

At the break, though, there was a rather interesting substitution made by Thomas Tuchel.

This came with Hudson-Odoi, who didn’t appear to be injured when he left the field at half-time, having been hauled off for Reece James.

Given the fact that Tuchel recently hooked Hudson-Odoi after bringing him on vs Southampton, eyebrows were quickly raised when news on CHO’s withdrawal against United surfaced.

However, it has since been revealed that the winger is simply injured, and has been pictured with some form of ice pack on his leg:
