The world soccer governing body has confirmed the date the trophy of the 2023 Women’s World Cup will arrive in Nigeria.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons is among the 32 teams that have booked their spot in the tournament slated for midyear 2024.
According to FIFA, the Trophy Tour will first arrive in Morocco on the 20th of March and will be in South Africa on the 22nd and 23rd of March.
Zambia will host the trophy on the 24th of March before rounding off its African tour in Nigeria on the 26th.
“The FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour is a spectacular global celebration of the women’s game, allowing fans, families and future football enthusiasts to be inspired and become part of a truly special journey.
