Bright Osayi-Samuel joined a host of other Super Eagles players in camp to complete the squad in the build-up to the CAF Nations Cup qualifiers against Sierra Leone in Monrovia.
Bright arrived in camp today, Wednesday, from Fenerbahçe in Turkey, after missing out on two training sessions so far with the team.
More training sessions are reported to come behind closed doors, at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena in Onikan, Lagos, with today’s session slated for 4:15 pm.
Recall that Victor Osimhen also joined the team earlier this week in a private jet, on the back of an illustrious season with Italian club side Napoli after winning the Scudetto and bagging the Golden Boot award.
According to the technical crew of the team, the training sessions were billed to hold behind closed doors, and away from media, preserving the team’s game technique and strategies from the opposition.
All the departments in play are well represented; three goalkeepers, eight defenders, five midfielders, and seven forwards.
The AFCON qualifier game against Sierra Leone will be Super Eagles’ 5th game in the series with the hopes of wrapping up qualification with maximum points.
