WARNING!

In a bid to maintain sanity even amidst the pandemic, the US airline main lobby group have warned that passengers who refuse to wear nose masks could have their flying privileges revoked and provide the coverings to passengers who have none.

This was disclosed yesterday, Monday in a statement.

Once onboard, however, flight attendants have little power to enforce the policy if passengers remove their masks.

Thus far, the US government has no mandate on the matter as carriers implementing the new policy include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines, Airlines for America.

The measures are expected to remain in place throughout the COVID-19 public health crisis, it said.
