Nigerian rapper Oludemilade Alejo, popularly known as Ycee, has reacted to his colleague, Wizkid’s statement where he disparaged rap music by labelling it ‘boring’ and ‘dead’
The Essence artiste on Friday had said rap was dead, a development that elicited mixed reactions from his fans and some of his colleagues.
The singer in the early hours of today also broke shamed some rappers saying, “Can’t believe y’all broke boys really thought Big Wiz will talk about y’all wow!”
Reacting to this, YCee on Twitter wrote, “This thing wey Wiz Dey do no make sense. Rappers work so hard in an industry that doesn’t even favor them. No funding. No support. No, nothing. And you wanna make fun of that? Nah G That is not it
