Ghanaian Afrobeat singer, Kelvynboy has heaped insults on Hitz FM’s Programs manager, Prince Tsegah and other radio broadcasters criticizing him for confessing about his addiction.
The Downflat hitmaker revealed that his addiction to smoking is so severe that he will go mad if he does not smoke a day.
“For real, I smoke…You see the way people think if you smoke you’ll go mad, me if I don’t smoke, I’ll go mad. So smoking is my thing, I like to smoke,” he said in an interview on Hitz FM.
He also confessed that smoking calms him down and he was not shy to share his truth with the world.
“That’s what calms me down. I don’t have to show you, you get to see it. I have learned a lot from Bob Marley and he always smoked. I don’t show it to the camera when I smoke, I’m smoking every time so if you see me and you take a picture of me from the back, you’ll probably see the smoke. I can’t fake oo, that’s me, and people like me for that.”
Reacting to the claims, the Programs Manager at Hitz FM, Prince Tsegah popularly known as Da Don said Kelvynboy was a fool to have confessed to his addiction on live radio.
He raised that for the sake of PR, the popular musician should have kept his dirty lifestyle a secret instead of foolishly speaking on the radio.
Kelvynboy heard Prince Tsegah’s statement and has taken to Twitter to respond to the insults hurled against him for speaking the truth.
According to Kelvynboy, it takes a fool to identify a fool and he is surprised sinners are comfortable judging other sinners for sinning differently.
“Selected sinners choosing sins they’re comfortable with and judging others for the ones they are not comfortable with! Only takes a fool to know a FOOL!! We FORWARD 🏽”
